The Stumpjumper 15 Comp is here and eager to eliminate any compromises in trail riding. Does it conquer obstacles on the trail like a big bike? Yes. Does it possess the control, playfulness, and efficiency of bikes with less suspension travel? Absolutely. And what about various adjustment options to perfectly tailor the bike to you and your riding style? Yes, yes, yes.
EVEN MORE CAPABLE: Our new GENIE damper technology combines a playful ride feel with the downhill capabilities of enduro bikes.
EVEN MORE CONTROL: The Stumpjumper 15 has better traction characteristics than our "Bike of the Year," the Stumpjumper EVO.
ENDLESSLY CONFIGURABLE: With six different geometry settings, mullet or full 29er options, adjustable spring curve, and much more.
GENIE LEAVES NO WISH UNFULFILLED: Our latest innovation is GENIE—a pneumatic damping technology that meets the three biggest wishes of our riders: an almost "bottomless" air shock with the smooth feel of a steel spring, plus ultra-fine adjustability.
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: GENIE merges the linear spring rate of a steel spring in the first 70% of the stroke with the progressive spring rate of an air spring in the last 30%. This maximizes control and prevents bottoming out. GENIE provides the best of both worlds—steel and air springs—along with the possibility for tuning. Say goodbye to compromises. The future of trail riding begins now.
BETTER IMPACT MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% better impact management than conventional air shocks, GENIE in the Stumpjumper 15 makes it feel like the bike has much more travel. For instance, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm in the rear and our Enduro with 170 mm both utilize 101 mm of travel to absorb 1080 N of impact force.
MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have also shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE offers 57% better traction characteristics compared to a conventional air shock. Our new GENIE technology provides the smooth performance of a steel spring, resulting in more rear wheel contact with the ground than a regular air shock. Your power is transferred better, giving you increased control.
LESS BOTTOM-OUTS: The harder the impact, the more GENIE's "silent reserve" reveals its full potential: in the last 30% of the travel, the damping resistance increases progressively, reducing the potential bottoming frequency and intensity.
PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on command, a nimble steering feel in tight sections, and exceptionally efficient climbing behavior. The spacious cockpit centers riders for optimal traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset ensure easy balance in difficult terrain thanks to high stability.
A FRAME FULL OF POSSIBILITIES: Six individual settings allow riders to perfectly adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike according to their preferences and the terrain. The steering angle and bottom bracket height can be changed for optimal center of gravity or necessary ground clearance.
MULLET OR FULL 29ER: Big wheels for better rollover and more momentum, or a smaller rear wheel for more playfulness? The choice is yours. If you want to change the combination, we offer the appropriate link in our shop. And don’t worry, geometry and suspension characteristics remain the same.
SWAT BOX: The ingenious SWAT™ Box 4.0 in the downtube provides a wind, weather, and crash-proof storage compartment in the Stumpjumper 15, now even safer and better integrated.
