How do I buy a bike?
The process step by step
Discover a wide range of bikes, compare the options and choose the bike that suits you best.
Reserve the bike (without obligation) by making a 20% deposit using the payment method of your choice. After the deposit has been paid, the contact details will be exchanged between the seller and the buyer.
Schedule an appointment with the verified seller, check the bike and possibly take a test ride.
To complete the purchase, pay the balance in cash* or through the velocorner platform (recommended). To release the payment on the seller's bank account, it is mandatory to confirm the handover on velocorner.
Choose from two options the one that suits you best
You may see a button "Reserve" which means that you can pre-reserve this bike by making a 20% deposit (non-binding). After a test ride in the store you have the option to pay the remaining 80% of the price or get a refund of your deposit.
Get in touch with the dealer (by phone or email) to find out more about the offer. When you are ready, make an appointment for a test ride. If the bike suits you perfectly, you can proceed with payment.

-
What is the difference between buying from a private seller and a reseller?
Private sellers are individuals who sell their personal belongings and offer a personal approach and direct communication. Resellers, on the other hand, are individuals or companies that specialize in the resale of goods or services and often offer a wide selection and a professional approach to transactions.
-
Am I obliged to buy the reserved bike?
No, you are not obliged to buy the reserved bike. The money stays with us until you have seen the bike, tried it out and approved it. Only then will we transfer the money to the seller. If you don't like the bike, we will refund the full amount.
-
Can I return the bike?
If you bought the bike from a dealer, ask the dealer directly about their returns policy. Dealers usually have their own return policy and will give you the relevant information. If you buy from a private seller, the bike belongs to you after the handover confirmation and a return is usually not possible unless you have agreed this with the seller. Please make sure that the bike meets your expectations before you confirm the handover.
