For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm at the rear and our Enduro with 170 mm both utilize 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N. MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE offers 57% better traction characteristics compared to a conventional air spring damper. Our new GENIE technology provides you with the smooth performance of a steel spring, ensuring more rear wheel contact than a standard air-sprung damper. This improves power transfer and ultimately gives you more control. FEWER BOTTOM-OUTS: The harder the hits, the more the "silent reserve" of GENIE reveals its full potential: In the last 30% of the travel, the damping resistance increases progressively, reducing potential bottom-out frequency and intensity. PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike offers big bike virtues on demand, a nimble steering feel in tight sections, and enormously efficient climbing behavior. The central, spacious cockpit positions the rider for optimal traction and cornering control.
