The Stumpjumper 15 Comp has arrived and is ready to eliminate any compromises in trail riding. Does it handle rough terrain like a big bike? Yes. Does it have the control, playfulness, and efficiency of bikes with less travel? Absolutely. And what about the various adjustment options to perfectly tailor your bike to your preferences and riding style? Yes, yes, yes.
EVEN MORE COMPETENT: Our new GENIE shock technology combines a playful and jump-friendly ride with the downhill capabilities of enduro bikes.
EVEN MORE CONTROL: The Stumpjumper 15 offers better traction than our award-winning Stumpjumper EVO.
ENDLESSLY CONFIGURABLE: With six different geometry settings, Mullet or Full 29er options, adjustable spring curves, and much more.
GENIE LEAVES NO DESIRE UNFULFILLED: Our latest innovation is GENIE. This air shock technology meets the three biggest wishes of our riders: an almost "bottomless" air shock with the smooth feel of a coil spring – plus ultra-fine adjustability.
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a coil spring in the first 70% of the travel with the progressive spring rate of an air spring in the last 30%. This maximizes control and prevents bottoming out. GENIE provides the best of both worlds – steel and air springs – along with tuning options. Say goodbye to compromises. The future of trail riding starts now.
BETTER IMPACT MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% improved impact management compared to conventional air shocks, GENIE in the Stumpjumper 15 makes the bike feel like it has much more travel. For instance, both the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm rear travel and our Enduro with 170 mm use 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N.
MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE offers 57% better traction compared to a conventional air shock. Our new GENIE technology provides the smooth performance of a coil spring, ensuring more contact of your rear wheel with the ground than a standard air shock. This leads to better power transfer and more control.
LESS BOTTOMING OUT: The harder the hits; the more GENIE’s "silent reserve" shows its full potential: In the last 30% of the travel, the damping resistance increases progressively – reducing the frequency and intensity of potential bottom outs.
PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers the virtues of a big bike on demand, a light and agile steering feel in tight sections, and extremely efficient climbing behavior. The spacious central cockpit keeps riders centered for optimal traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset offer easy balance in challenging terrain thanks to remarkable stability.
A FRAME FULL OF POSSIBILITIES: Six individual settings allow riders to perfectly adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike according to preferences and terrain. Head angle and bottom bracket height can be changed for optimal center of gravity or ground clearance.
MULLET OR FULL 29ER: Big wheels for better rollover and more momentum, or a smaller rear wheel for playfulness? The choice is yours. If you want to change the combination, we offer the suitable link in our shop. And don’t worry, the geometry and handling characteristics remain the same.
SWAT BOX: The ingenious SWAT™ Box 4.0 in the down tube provides a wind-, weather-, and crash-proof storage compartment in the Stumpjumper 15, now even safer and better integrated.
