Product Description

The Stumpjumper 15 Comp is here and ready to eliminate any compromise in trail performance. Does it handle rough sections like a big bike? Check. Does it have the control, playfulness, and efficiency of low-travel bikes? Double check. And what about versatile adjustment options to perfectly tailor your bike to your preferences and riding style? Check, check, check. EVEN MORE CAPABLE: Our new GENIE damper technology brings together a playful and jump-friendly ride feel with the downhill capabilities of enduro bikes. EVEN MORE CONTROL: The Stumpjumper 15 offers better traction characteristics than our "Bike of the Year," the Stumpjumper EVO. ENDLESSLY CONFIGURABLE: With six different geometry settings, mullet or full 29er options, adjustable spring curves, and more. GENIE LEAVES NO DESIRE UNFULFILLED: Our latest innovation, GENIE, features air damper technology that fulfills the three biggest wishes of our riders: an almost "indestructible" air damper with the smooth feel of a steel spring – plus ultra-fine adjustability. THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a steel spring in the first 70% of the travel with the progressive spring rate of an air spring in the last 30%. This maximizes control and prevents bottoming out. GENIE offers the best of both steel and air springs, along with tuning potential. Say goodbye to compromises. The future of trail riding starts now. BETTER IMPACT MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% improved impact management compared to conventional air-spring dampers, GENIE in the Stumpy 15 makes the bike feel like it has much more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm rear and our enduro with 170 mm both use 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N. MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE has 57% better traction characteristics than a conventional air-spring damper. Our new GENIE technology provides the smooth performance of a steel spring, ensuring better rear wheel contact than a standard air-spring damper. Your power is better transferred, giving you more control. LESS BOTTOMING OUT: The harder the hits, the more the "silent reserve" of GENIE shows its full potential: in the last 30% of travel, the damping resistance rises progressively, reducing the potential frequency and intensity of bottoming out. PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on demand, a feather-light nimbleness in tight sections, and enormously efficient climbing behavior. The central, spacious cockpit centers the rider for optimal traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset provide easy balance even in challenging terrain due to great stability. A FRAME FULL OF OPTIONS: Six individual settings allow riders to perfectly adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike according to preferences and terrain. Head angle and bottom bracket height can be altered for optimal center of gravity or necessary ground clearance. MULLET OR FULL 29ER: Big wheels for better rollover capability and more momentum, or a smaller rear wheel for added playfulness? You have the choice. If you want to change the combination, we offer the matching link in our shop. And don't worry, the geometry and suspension characteristics remain the same. SWAT BOX: The ingenious SWAT™ Box 4.0 in the downtube provides a weatherproof and crash-proof storage compartment in the Stumpjumper 15, now even safer and better integrated.
