The ARC8 Evolve FS is a blend between a XC bike and a trail bike. ARC8 aimed for it to be a lightweight and rapid bike on race tracks, while also prioritizing the thrill of speed on trails. According to ARC8, they have experience with what is now referred to as Down Country bikes, essentially cross-country bikes with added features like 120mm fork travel, a shorter stem, wider handlebars, and a dropper post. They view this setup as the standard for a XC bike nowadays. ARC8 purposefully designed the Evolve FS to allow for 100mm of travel for intense racing. The bike boasts an extremely light construction, innovative geometry, and efficient suspension system. This combination aids in swift climbs and aggressive descents. On the Evolve FS, riders can venture further into challenging terrains than on other bikes.
