The Stumpjumper 15 Comp is here and ready to eliminate any compromises in the trail game. Does it handle rough patches on the trail like a big bike? Yes. Does it possess the control, playfulness, and efficiency of bikes with less travel? Absolutely. And what about various adjustment options to tailor the bike perfectly to you and your riding style? Yes, yes, yes.
EVEN MORE COMPETENT: Our new GENIE damper technology combines a playful and dynamic ride feel with the downhill capabilities of enduro bikes.
EVEN MORE CONTROL: The Stumpjumper 15 offers better traction than our "Bike of the Year," the Stumpjumper EVO.
ENDLESSLY CONFIGURABLE: Six different geometry settings, mullet or full 29er, adjustable spring curve, and much more.
GENIE LEAVES NO WISH UNGRANTED: Our latest innovation is GENIE. The air damper technology meets the three biggest desires of our riders: an almost "unbeatable" air damper with the smooth feel of a steel spring—plus ultra-fine adjustability.
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a steel spring in the first 70% of the travel with the progressive spring rate of an air spring in the last 30%. This maximizes control and prevents bottom-outs. GENIE offers the best of both worlds—steel and air springs—along with tuning possibilities. Say goodbye to compromises. The future of trail riding starts now.
BETTER IMPACT MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% better impact management compared to conventional air-spring dampers, GENIE in the Stumpjumper 15 makes the bike feel like it has much more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm in the rear and our Enduro with 170 mm both use 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N.
MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail testing have shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE has 57% better traction compared to a traditional air-sprung damper. Our new GENIE technology provides the smooth performance of a steel spring, resulting in greater rear wheel contact with the ground than a standard air damper. This enhances power transfer and gives you increased control.
LESS BOTTOM-OUTS: As impacts increase, GENIE's "silent reserve" reveals its full potential: in the last 30% of travel, damping resistance progressively increases, reducing the frequency and intensity of potential bottom-outs.
PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on demand, a light and nimble steering feel in tight sections, and extremely efficient climbing behavior. The central, spacious cockpit centers the rider for optimal traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset provide effortless balance in difficult terrain thanks to ample stability.
A FRAME FULL OF POSSIBILITIES: Six individual settings allow riders to perfectly adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike according to preferences and terrain. Head angle and bottom bracket height can be modified for optimal center of gravity or necessary ground clearance.
MULLET OR FULL 29ER: Large wheels for better rollover capability and more momentum or a smaller rear wheel for added playfulness? You have the choice. If you want to change the combination, we offer the compatible rocker link in our shop. And don't worry, the geometry and suspension characteristics remain the same.
SWAT BOX: The ingenious SWAT™ Box 4.0 in the down tube provides a weatherproof, crash-resistant storage compartment in the Stumpjumper 15, now even safer and better integrated.
