With its anti-squat feature, we’ve struck a balance between the previous model and the Stumpjumper EVO, both of which exhibited excellent ride characteristics. PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big-bike virtues on demand, providing a lightweight and agile steering feel in tight sections and an incredibly efficient climbing ability. The spacious and centered cockpit enhances rider traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset offer outstanding balance in challenging terrain, ensuring stability. A FRAME FULL OF POSSIBILITIES: Six individual settings allow riders to perfectly adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike based on personal preferences and terrain. Head angle and bottom bracket height can be changed for optimal center of gravity or necessary ground clearance. FORM FOLLOWS FUN: While we can certainly build a frame that's maximally stiff, it’s not always practical. To truly connect with the bike, the frame needs to exhibit a certain degree of compliance. We’ve designed the M5 aluminum chassis—front and rear frames and the linkage in between—as a unit that provides the right stiffness needed for trail riding. WHEEL SIZE: All models with coil spring suspension come equipped with differently sized wheels. MULLET OR FULL 29ER: Do you prefer larger wheels for better rollover performance and more momentum, or a smaller rear wheel for added playfulness? The choice is yours. If you wish to change the combination, we offer the appropriate linkage in our shop. No worries, the geometry and handling characteristics remain unchanged.
