BETTER IMPACT FORCE MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% better impact force management than conventional air-sprung shocks, GENIE in the Stumpy 15 makes the bike feel like it has much more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm in the rear and our enduro with 170 mm both use 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N. MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have also shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE has 57% better traction characteristics compared to a conventional air-sprung shock. Our new GENIE technology provides you with the smooth performance of a steel spring, which, on average, ensures more ground contact of your rear wheel than a normal air-sprung shock. Your forces are better transmitted, giving you simply more control. LESS BOTTOM-OUTS: The harder the hits, the more the "silent reserve" of GENIE unfolds its full potential: In the last 30% of the travel, the damping resistance increases progressively – thus reducing the potential bottom-out frequency and intensity. PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on demand, a feather-light agile steering feel in tight sections, and an extremely efficient climbing behavior. The central, spacious cockpit centers the rider for optimal traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset provide easy balance even in challenging terrain thanks to plenty of stability.
