Terms and Conditions for Orders Placed in the velocorner.ch Brand Store

1. Role of velocorner AG and the contractual relationship

Orders placed in the Brandstore are processed via the velocorner.ch platform. The Brandstore operates on a dropshipping model. This means that, depending on the product, availability, and supplier, the ordered products may be shipped directly to the customer by a third-party provider, supplier, or logistics partner.

The customer's contractual partner is velocorner AG. However, order fulfillment, warehousing, delivery, returns processing, or service handling may be carried out by third-party providers, suppliers, manufacturers, service partners, or logistics partners.

2. Delivery

Delivery is made exclusively by the respective partner directly to the customer.

Delivery times, shipping methods, and shipping costs may vary depending on the product, supplier, and availability. Information regarding delivery times is non-binding unless expressly confirmed in writing.

velocorner AG is not liable for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, in particular delays on the part of suppliers, manufacturers, logistics partners, customs or transport service providers, or due to incomplete or incorrect information provided by the customer.

Deliveries are made only to addresses within the delivery area designated by velocorner AG. velocorner AG may refuse or cancel orders if legal, contractual, supplier, or manufacturer restrictions prevent delivery.

3. Prices and Payment

Prices in the Brandstore are listed in CHF and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

Payment is made using the payment methods offered by velocorner AG. Shipping costs, service fees, or other additional costs will be displayed to the customer before the order is completed.

4. Return Policy

All orders placed in the Brandstore are subject to a voluntary return policy of 10 calendar days from the date of delivery.

Returns must be requested in writing from velocorner AG in advance and confirmed by velocorner AG. Returns are not automatically sent to velocorner AG; instead, depending on the product, they must be sent to the return address provided by velocorner AG for the relevant supplier, service partner, or logistics partner.

In the event of an approved return, for example due to dissatisfaction, an incorrect order, or a duplicate order, the customer will be refunded only the purchase price of the returned merchandise. The shipping costs originally incurred at the time of purchase will not be refunded. Return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer, unless velocorner AG expressly confirms otherwise.

Exceptions to this rule are justified returns due to a proven defect not caused by the customer, such as an incorrect delivery or a proven defect. In these cases, upon approval of the return, the customer will be reimbursed for the reasonable return shipping costs as well as the initial standard shipping costs.

5. Return Conditions

Returns are only accepted if the following conditions are met:

  • Written notification and explanation of the reason for the return;
  • Return within the confirmed return period;
  • Return in perfect, unused, clean, and undamaged condition;
  • Return in the undamaged original packaging;
  • Complete return including accessories, labels, barcodes, tags, user manuals, and other included items;
  • Include a copy of the delivery note or invoice;
  • No signs of assembly, installation, testing, use, or wear and tear.

velocorner AG will provide the customer with the return address. Returns without prior approval, without stating the reason for the return, or without supporting documentation such as a delivery note or invoice may be refused.

6. Products Excluded from Return

The following items, in particular, are excluded from return:

  • Returns received after the return period has expired;
  • Pants, socks, underwear, and similar hygiene items;
  • Outlet, clearance, promotional, or discounted items;
  • Incomplete, used, soiled, damaged, or defective items;
  • Items with damaged original packaging, damaged barcodes, damaged labels, or missing labels;
  • Items that have been assembled, installed, tested, or otherwise used and therefore show signs of use or wear;
  • Products that were not available from stock and were ordered specifically for the customer;
  • Custom-configured, programmed, or customized products;
  • Motors or electronic components that were programmed, configured, or customized based on the order.

7. Consequences of non-compliant returns

Unauthorized or non-compliant returns may be refused and returned to the customer. In this case, the customer may be charged for the resulting costs. These include, in particular, return shipping, postage, inspection, and processing fees.

For non-compliant returns, velocorner AG may charge a processing fee of up to 20% of the merchandise value, with a minimum of CHF 20. Additionally, shipping or postage costs of at least CHF 9 may apply. This may result in total costs of at least CHF 29.

8. Warranty

Products purchased in the Brandstore are covered by a 24-month warranty period starting from the date of sale as indicated on the customer receipt, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions.

Warranty or guarantee claims require that the customer report the defect in writing, provide proof of purchase, and follow the processing instructions provided by velocorner AG.

The inspection and resolution may be carried out by velocorner AG, the manufacturer, suppliers, service partners, or other third parties involved.

Depending on the outcome of the inspection, the resolution may be carried out, in particular, by:

  • Repair;
  • Replacement with a new or equivalent product;
  • Credit;
  • Refund.

The specific terms of the transaction will be determined by velocorner AG or by the relevant manufacturer, supplier, or service partner, to the extent permitted by law.

The warranty and guarantee do not cover, in particular, damage resulting from improper use, improper installation, improper care, normal wear and tear, drops, accidents, unauthorized modifications, unauthorized repairs, improper storage, or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.

9. Service and Warranty Processing

Defective products may only be returned after prior contact with and confirmation from velocorner AG.

velocorner AG may request additional information, photos, serial numbers, proof of purchase, descriptions of the defect, or other documentation from the customer that is necessary for assessing the warranty or service claim.

For repairs subject to a fee, a cost estimate may be provided prior to service. Repairs will only be performed after approval by the customer.

Processing, inspection, and repair times depend on the product, manufacturer, supplier, service partner, availability of replacement parts, and the extent of the defect. The timeframes mentioned are approximate and not binding unless they have been expressly confirmed in writing.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, velocorner AG disclaims all liability for indirect damages, consequential damages, lost profits, loss of use, data loss, or damages resulting from delivery delays.

In particular, velocorner AG is not liable for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, service partners, logistics partners, or other third parties involved, unless such delays were caused by velocorner AG through willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain reserved.

11. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in connection with order fulfillment, payment, delivery, returns, warranty claims, and service requests.

To facilitate these processes, necessary personal data may be shared with third-party providers, suppliers, manufacturers, service partners, logistics partners, or payment service providers.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law shall apply exclusively, to the exclusion of any conflict-of-laws provisions.

To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of velocorner AG. Mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction remain reserved.
