The Stumpjumper 15 Comp is here, ready to eliminate any compromises in trail riding. Does it tackle bumps on the trail like a big bike? Check. Does it have the control, playfulness, and efficiency of bikes with less travel? Double check. And what about various adjustment options to tailor your bike perfectly to you and your riding style? Check, check, check.
EVEN MORE CAPABLE: Our new GENIE damper technology combines a playful and springy ride feel with the downhill capabilities of enduro bikes.
EVEN MORE CONTROL: The Stumpjumper 15 offers better traction characteristics than our "Bike of the Year," the Stumpjumper EVO.
ENDLESSLY CUSTOMIZABLE: Six different geometry settings, mullet or full 29er, adjustable spring curve, and much more.
GENIE LEAVES NO WISH UNFULFILLED: Our latest innovation is GENIE, the air damper technology that fulfills the top three wishes of our riders: a nearly "indestructible" air damper with the smooth feel of a steel spring – plus ultra-fine adjustability.
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a steel spring for the first 70% of the travel with the progressive spring rate of an air spring in the last 30%. This maximizes control and minimizes bottoming out. GENIE offers the best of both worlds – steel and air spring – along with tuning possibilities. Say goodbye to compromises. The future of trail riding begins now.
BETTER IMPACT MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% better impact management than conventional air-sprung dampers, GENIE in the Stumpjumper 15 ensures that the bike rides as if it has much more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm at the rear and our Enduro with 170 mm both use 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N.
MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have also shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE has 57% better traction characteristics compared to conventional air-sprung dampers. Our new GENIE technology delivers the smooth performance of a steel spring, providing more rear wheel contact on average than a standard air-sprung damper. Your forces are transmitted better, giving you greater control.
LESS BOTTOM-OUTS: The harder the hits; the more the "hidden reserve" of GENIE unleashes its full potential: In the last 30% of the travel, damping resistance increases progressively – reducing the potential frequency and intensity of bottoming out.
PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on demand, feather-light handling in tight sections, and exceptionally efficient climbing behavior. The central, spacious cockpit centers the rider for optimal traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset provide easy balance in tricky terrain thanks to plenty of stability.
A FRAME FULL OF POSSIBILITIES: Six individual settings allow riders to perfectly adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike according to preferences and terrain. Head angle and bottom bracket height can be altered for the optimal center of gravity or the necessary ground clearance.
MULLET OR FULL 29ER: Big wheels for better roll-over performance and more momentum, or a smaller rear wheel for enhanced playfulness? The choice is yours. If you want to change the combination, we offer the suitable linkage in our shop. And don’t worry, geometry and suspension characteristics remain the same.
SWAT BOX: The ingenious SWAT™ Box 4.0 in the downtube provides a wind-, weather-, and crash-resistant storage compartment in the Stumpjumper 15, now even more secure and better integrated.
