For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm at the rear and our Enduro with 170 mm both use 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N. MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have also shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE has 57% better traction characteristics compared to conventional air-sprung dampers. Our new GENIE technology delivers the smooth performance of a steel spring, providing more rear wheel contact on average than a standard air-sprung damper. LESS BOTTOM-OUTS: The harder the hits; the more the "hidden reserve" of GENIE unleashes its full potential: In the last 30% of the travel, damping resistance increases progressively – reducing the potential frequency and intensity of bottoming out.
