The Demo Race symbolizes maximum speed on the most challenging downhill tracks. The new frame design allows you to choose between a 29-inch or a 27.5-inch rear wheel. Although Loïc Bruni won both the World Championship and the overall title in the first season of the new Demo in a full 29er setup, he has since been testing mullet setups in search of the perfect balance between grip and agility, leaving plenty of dust behind for the competition. You can now also obtain the Demo Race right out of the box in a mullet setup. The FlipChip on the chainstay enables you to switch between 27.5 and 29-inch rear wheels based on terrain and riding style. It also adjusts the length of the chainstays and the height of the bottom bracket.
To ensure you aren’t held back on the toughest tracks, our engineers have developed a unique suspension system. The rear axle's rearward path in the upper suspension stroke allows the rear wheel to lift over curb-like obstacles instead of getting stuck on them. This way, you can gain those crucial seconds. This World Cup-tested kinematics is complemented by high-end suspension components from Öhlins, while you shift confidently and quickly through the gears with the SRAM X01 drivetrain, designed specifically for downhillers, between the start and finish lines.
