The brand new Chisel has been specifically designed to conquer modern cross-country trails and race courses at maximum speed. It actually shares many of the same contemporary features as its Epic Hardtail sibling, but comes in a more budget-friendly package, making it the most efficient and capable aluminum hardtail on the market.
This Chisel is equipped with the proven SRAM SX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain and Level T hydraulic disc brakes, along with a RockShox Judy Silver fork and 25 mm wide aluminum rims that are wrapped in 2.35 Fast Track Control tires.
The entirely new frame of the Chisel utilizes our D'Aluisio Smartweld technology, which repositions the hydroformed tube connections from the areas of highest stress, enhancing the balance of strength, stiffness, and weight in the finished frame more than any other aluminum frame in history. This design not only makes the Chisel one of the lightest aluminum hardtail frames at 1,350 g, but also enables a tuned frame stiffness across all sizes.
Additionally, the new Chisel offers all the modern features one would expect from an XC bike, such as progressive XC geometry with a 68-degree head tube angle and longer reach, internal cable routing, a threaded bottom bracket, Boost spacing, 30.9 mm dropper post compatibility, and 1x drivetrain systems.
