Bike Condition & Service History The bike has been regularly maintained and is in good mechanical condition, with several important components recently serviced or replaced. Frame * The frame is in solid condition with no cracks, structural damage, or functional issues. * There are, of course, scratches and cosmetic signs of regular use—this is a mountain bike that’s been ridden, not a garage queen 😄. Everything is purely cosmetic and does not affect performance. Suspension * Front and rear suspension professionally serviced in September 2025. * Fork: Zeb Base * Shock: Super deluxe Select Brakes * Upgraded to SRAM Code Ultimate brakes (upgrade value approx. CHF 350–400). * Braking performance is excellent. * Brake rotors were replaced together with the brake upgrade before the 2025 season. * A brake bleed before summer could further optimize performance, but the brakes are already working very well. Drivetrain * SRAM GX rear derailleur replaced on August 1st, 2025. * New chain installed at the same time. * Drivetrain is straight, quiet, and shifts smoothly. * Original cassette and chainring are still installed. A mechanic suggested the cassette may eventually need replacement, but shifting performance remains good and there are currently no issues. Wheels * Front wheel is original and currently set up with an inner tube. * Rear wheel was replaced in August 2025. The rim has two dents, which prevents a reliable tubeless setup, but it works perfectly with a tube and still has relatively low mileage. Bearings * Headset bearings replaced in summer 2025. * A brand-new replacement headset bearing set is included with the sale. Frame Bearings * Frame bearings have not yet been replaced. * A complete replacement bearing kit is included with the bike. * No noticeable issues at the moment, but replacing them in the future would be good preventative maintenance. Bottom Bracket * Bottom bracket is approaching the end of its service life and should be replaced in the near future. * Still fully functional, but you feel that its time. But it's an inexpensive maintenance item. SRAM dub bottom bracket + bearings (what you need) will be around 50 euros. Tires * Continental Kryptotal tires installed at the end of last summer. * Still in very good condition with plenty of life remaining. Overall, the bike is ready to ride and has been well looked after. Most major wear items have either been serviced or replaced recently, and several spare parts are included with the sale.
