Body height: 174 | Bike size fits
I am selling my loyal and well-maintained Santa Cruz Hightower LT C with the high-quality S-Kit equipment package. I purchased the bike from a specialist dealer in March 2019 (receipt available). The model year is 2019. The Hightower LT is the perfect all-rounder: It is a true enduro downhill, but can be pedaled uphill as lightly as a trail bike thanks to its drive-neutral VPP rear suspension. Frame shape & size: The bike features the classic, extremely stable diamond frame shape (full suspension) with a strongly sloping top tube for maximum legroom on the trails. The frame size is M (seat tube length 42 cm), which according to Santa Cruz is ideal for a height of about 165 cm to 175 cm (max. 178 cm). Wheel size: The bike rolls on fast and stable 29-inch wheels that glide perfectly over obstacles and provide a lot of safety downhill. Condition & usage: The mountain bike has been used appropriately in the terrain and shows normal, light signs of wear accordingly. The bike has always been very well maintained. Note on the frame: There is a paint damage of about 12 cm long on the top side of the top tube. This has been professionally inspected: It is purely a paint damage. The carbon structure underneath is completely intact and undamaged, there is no crash damage or crack (see detail photo). Fresh service work & upgrades: The bike has just received a fresh service and is ready to ride immediately (“Ready to Rumble”): * Brake update: Completely new brake discs front and rear (SRAM Centerline rotors, front 200 mm / rear 180 mm for maximum braking power). The brake lines have been freshly bled and the brake fluid completely replaced. Additionally, new brake pads (SRAM Code Large) have been installed at the rear. * Tubeless & tire service: A new tubeless rim tape has been installed at the front. The tubeless sealant has been freshly replaced in both wheels. Robust, grippy Maxxis tires are mounted, with the rear tire being completely new. Since the service at the beginning of July, the bike has only been ridden once. Included accessories: * High-quality Deity flat pedals * Matching, lightweight carbon bottle holder (special shape so that a water bottle fits perfectly in the frame despite the shock) * Original purchase receipt from 2019 Reason for sale: I am now mostly riding my gravel bike. Unfortunately, the mountain bike is not getting enough use and is sitting too much in the basement. Therefore, I would like to pass it on to good hands so that it can be used appropriately on the trails again.
