The Stumpjumper 15 Comp is here and ready to eliminate any compromises in trail riding. Does it swallow chunks on the trail like a big bike? Check. Does it have the control, playfulness, and efficiency of bikes with less travel? Double check. And what about various adjustment options to perfectly tailor your bike to you and your riding style? Check, check, check. EVEN MORE COMPETENT: Our new GENIE damper technology combines a playful and bouncy ride feel with the downhill capabilities of enduro bikes. EVEN MORE CONTROLLED: The Stumpjumper 15 has better traction characteristics than our "Bike of the Year" Stumpjumper EVO. ENDLESSLY CONFIGURABLE: Six different geometry settings, mullet or full 29er, adjustable spring curve, and much more. GENIE LEAVES NO WISH UNFULFILLED: Our latest innovation is GENIE. The air damper technology that fulfills the three biggest wishes of our riders: An almost "bulletproof" air damper with the smooth ride feel of a steel spring – plus ultra-fine adjustability. THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a steel spring in the first 70% of the travel with the progressive spring rate of an air spring in the last 30%. This maximizes control and prevents bottom-outs. GENIE offers the best of both worlds – steel and air spring – plus the possibility of tuning. Say goodbye to compromises. The future of trail riding begins now. BETTER IMPACT FORCE MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% better impact force management than conventional air-sprung dampers, GENIE in the Stumpy 15 ensures that the bike feels like it has much more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm in the rear and our Enduro with 170 mm both use 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N. MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have also shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE has 57% better traction characteristics compared to a conventional air-sprung damper. Our new GENIE technology provides you with the smooth performance of a steel spring, which, on average, ensures more ground contact of your rear wheel than a normal air-sprung damper. Your forces are better transmitted, giving you simply more control. LESS BOTTOM-OUTS: The harder the hits, the more the "silent reserve" of GENIE unfolds its full potential: In the last 30% of the travel, the damping resistance increases progressively – thus reducing the potential frequency and intensity of bottom-outs. PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on demand, a feather-light agile steering feel in tight sections, and an extremely efficient climbing behavior. The central, generous cockpit centers the rider for optimal traction and corner control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset provide easy balance even in difficult terrain thanks to plenty of stability. A FRAME FULL OF POSSIBILITIES: Six individual settings allow riders to perfectly adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike according to preferences and terrain. The head angle and bottom bracket height can be changed for the optimal center of gravity or necessary ground clearance. MULLET OR FULL 29ER: Big wheels for better rollover and more momentum or a smaller rear wheel for more playfulness? You have the choice. If you want to change the combination, we offer the appropriate linkage in our shop. And don't worry, geometry and suspension characteristics remain the same. SWAT BOX: The ingenious SWAT™ Box 4.0 in the downtube also provides a wind-, weather-, and crash-proof storage compartment in the Stumpjumper 15, now even safer and better integrated.
