The Scott Spark DC 40 was designed for everyone who wants to get more out of every ride. The short-travel platform combines cross-country speed and backcountry performance in a thoughtful design – your favorite for everything. Every detail is designed for endless riding pleasure on the trail. The 140 mm front and 138 mm rear travel proves to be the ideal choice for efficiently tackling climbs and confidently handling descents, as well as absorbing rough terrain. The low center of gravity enhances stability on flow trails and jump lines, while the lightweight HMF carbon frame allows for efficient acceleration and lively handling from switchbacks to open singletracks. Together, they represent a step forward in trail riding with short travel. Traction, control, and comfort are achieved through the RockShox Pike fork and the Deluxe Traction shock – perfect for smooth, responsive handling on dynamic terrain. Whether it's laps during lunch breaks, focused sessions, or weekend adventures – this combination elevates every second of the ride to new dimensions. The components perfectly round off the powerful and thoughtful package: The Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain ensures secure and reliable shifting in any weather. Important items can be stored in the frame, and the special frame attachment makes it easy to carry heavier luggage for longer trips or lighter gear for commuting. Performance is also about practical function. The design requires less maintenance and can be fine-tuned even further to customize the bike – allowing for more time on the trail instead of in the workshop.
