BETTER SHOCK FORCE MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% better shock force management than conventional air-sprung shocks, GENIE in the Stumpy 15 makes the bike feel like it has much more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm rear travel and our Enduro with 170 mm both use 101 mm of travel to absorb a shock force of 1080 N.

MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have also shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE has 57% better traction characteristics compared to a conventional air-sprung shock. Our new GENIE technology offers you the smooth performance of a coil spring, which on average provides more rear wheel ground contact than a normal air-sprung shock. Your forces are better transferred, giving you more control.

FEWER BOTTOM-OUTS: The harder the hits, the more GENIE's "silent reserve" unfolds its full potential: in the last 30% of the travel, the damping resistance increases progressively - thus reducing the potential frequency and intensity of bottom-outs.

PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers Big Bike virtues on demand, a feather-light agile feeling in tight sections, and extremely efficient climbing behavior. The central, generous cockpit centers riders for optimal traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, flat head tube angle, and optimized fork offset also provide easy balance in challenging terrain with plenty of stability.
