In the anti-squat of the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy, we have created a balance between the predecessor model and the Stumpjumper EVO, as both brought excellent riding characteristics. PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on demand, a feather-light nimble steering feel in tight sections, and an incredibly efficient climbing behavior. The central, spacious cockpit centers the rider for optimal traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset provide easy balance even in challenging terrain thanks to plenty of stability. A FRAME FULL OF POSSIBILITIES: Six individual settings allow riders to perfectly adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike according to preferences and terrain. The steering angle and bottom bracket height can be changed for the optimal center of gravity or necessary ground clearance. FORM FOLLOWS FUN: Of course, we can build a frame that is maximally stiff, but that’s not always sensible. To become one with the bike, the frame must exhibit a certain degree of compliance. We designed the M5 aluminum chassis – front and rear triangle as well as the connection in between – as a unit that offers exactly the stiffness required for trail riding. WHEEL SIZE: All models with steel spring shock are equipped with wheels of different sizes.
