Product Description

The Stumpjumper 15 Expert is here, ready to eliminate any compromises in the trail riding experience. Does it absorb bumps like a big bike? Absolutely. Does it offer control, playfulness, and efficiency like bikes with less suspension travel? Definitely. And what about the numerous customization options to perfectly tailor the bike to you and your riding style? For sure. EVEN MORE CAPABLE: Our new GENIE shock technology combines a playful ride feel with the downhill capabilities of enduro bikes. EVEN MORE CONTROL: The Stumpjumper 15 offers better traction characteristics than our "Bike of the Year," the Stumpjumper EVO. ENDLESSLY CONFIGURABLE: Six different geometry settings, mullet or full 29er, adjustable suspension curve, and much more. GENIE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT: Our latest innovation, GENIE, is the air shock technology that fulfills the three biggest desires of our riders: an almost "bottomless" air shock with the smooth feel of a steel spring—plus ultra-fine adjustability. THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a steel spring in the first 70% of the travel with the progressive spring rate of an air spring in the last 30%. This maximizes control and prevents bottoming out. GENIE provides the benefits of both steel and air springs, along with tuning options. Say goodbye to compromises. The future of trail riding begins now. BETTER IMPACT MANAGEMENT: With a 16.3% improvement in impact management compared to traditional air shocks, GENIE in the Stumpjumper 15 makes the bike feel as if it has much more suspension travel. For example, both the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm in the rear and our Enduro with 170 mm utilize 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N. MORE TRACTION: Extensive tests in the lab and on the trails have shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE offers 57% better traction characteristics compared to a standard air shock. Our new GENIE technology delivers the smooth ride of a steel spring, which, on average, allows for better rear wheel contact than a conventional air shock. This results in improved power transfer and, ultimately, more control. LESS BOTTOM-OUT: The harder the hits, the more the "reserve" of GENIE reveals its full potential: in the last 30% of the travel, the damping resistance increases progressively, reducing both the frequency and intensity of potential bottom-outs. PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike provides the advantages of a big bike on demand, a light and agile steering feel in tight sections, and excellent climbing efficiency. The central, spacious cockpit centers the rider for optimal traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset ensure lightness and stability in challenging terrain. A FRAME FULL OF OPTIONS: Six individual settings allow riders to adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike according to personal preferences and terrain. Head angle and bottom bracket height can be adjusted for the optimal center of gravity or necessary ground clearance. MULLET OR FULL 29ER: Large wheels for better rollover and momentum, or a smaller rear wheel for more playfulness? The choice is yours. If you want to change the combination, we offer the appropriate replacement link in our shop. And don’t worry, geometry and suspension characteristics remain the same. SWAT BOX: The clever SWAT Box 4.0 in the downtube offers a wind-, weather-, and crash-resistant storage compartment, now even more secure and better integrated in the Stumpjumper 15.
