For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm rear travel and our enduro model with 170 mm both utilize 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N. MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE provides 57% better traction than a conventional air damper. Our new GENIE technology offers the smooth performance of a coil spring, resulting in more tire contact with the ground compared to a standard air-suspended damper. Your power is transferred better, giving you more control overall. LESS BOTTOM-OUT: The harder the hits, the more the "silent reserve" of GENIE reveals its full potential: In the last 30% of travel, the damping resistance increases progressively, reducing the potential frequency and intensity of bottom-outs.
