The Stumpjumper 15 Comp has arrived, ready to eliminate any compromises in trail riding. Does it tackle obstacles on the trail like a big bike? Check. Does it offer the control, playfulness, and efficiency of bikes with less suspension travel? Double check. What about various adjustable settings to customize your bike to fit your style? Check, check, check.
EVEN MORE COMPETENT: Our new GENIE shock technology combines a playful and jump-friendly ride with the downhill capabilities of enduro bikes.
EVEN MORE CONTROL: The Stumpjumper 15 provides better traction than our "Bike of the Year," the Stumpjumper EVO.
ENDLESSLY CONFIGURABLE: With six different geometry settings, Mullet or Full 29er options, adjustable spring curves, and much more.
GENIE LEAVES NO WISH UNGRANTED: Our latest innovation, GENIE, is a shock technology that meets the three biggest demands of our riders: an almost "indestructible" air shock with the smooth feel of a steel spring—plus fine adjustability.
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a steel spring in the first 70% of travel with the progressive spring rate of an air spring in the last 30%. This maximizes control and prevents bottoming out. GENIE offers the benefits of both steel and air springs, along with tuning options. Say goodbye to compromises. The future of trail riding starts now.
BETTER IMPACT MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% better impact management compared to conventional air shocks, GENIE in the Stumpy 15 makes the bike feel like it has much more travel. For instance, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm in the rear and our enduro bike with 170 mm both utilize 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N.
MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE offers 57% better traction than a conventional air shock. Our new GENIE technology provides the smooth performance of a steel spring, which, on average, maintains better rear wheel contact than a standard air shock. Energy is transferred more effectively, granting you greater control.
LESS BOTTOM-OUT: The harder the hits, the more the "quiet reserve" of GENIE shows its potential: in the last 30% of travel, the damping resistance increases progressively, thereby reducing the potential for bottoming out.
PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on demand, with a light and agile steering feel on tight sections and excellent climbing efficiency. The spacious cockpit centers the rider for optimal traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset provide easy balance even in challenging terrain.
A FRAME FULL OF POSSIBILITIES: Six individual settings allow riders to perfectly adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike according to their preferences and terrain. Head angle and bottom bracket height can be changed for an optimal center of gravity or necessary ground clearance.
MULLET OR FULL 29ER: Larger wheels for better rollover and more momentum, or a smaller rear wheel for added playfulness? The choice is yours. If you want to change the combination, we offer the corresponding rocker link in our shop. And don’t worry, the geometry and suspension characteristic remain consistent.
SWAT BOX: The ingenious SWAT™ Box 4.0 in the downtube provides the Stumpjumper 15 with a wind-, weather-, and crash-resistant storage compartment that is now even safer and more integrated.
