BETTER IMPACT FORCE MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% better impact force management than conventional air-sprung dampers, GENIE in the Stumpy 15 ensures that the bike rides as if it has much more suspension travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145 mm in the rear and our Enduro with 170 mm both use 101 mm of travel to absorb an impact force of 1080 N. MORE TRACTION: Extensive lab and trail tests have also shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE has 57% better traction characteristics compared to a conventional air-sprung damper. Our new GENIE technology provides you with the smooth performance of a steel spring, which, on average, ensures more rear wheel contact than a standard air-sprung damper. Your forces are better transmitted, giving you more control. LESS BOTTOM-OUTS: The harder the hits, the more the "silent reserve" of GENIE unleashes its full potential: In the last 30% of the travel, the damping resistance increases progressively – thus reducing the potential frequency and intensity of bottom-outs. PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on demand, a feather-light agile steering feel in tight sections, and an extremely efficient climbing behavior. The central, spacious cockpit centers the rider for optimal traction and cornering control.
