The Chisel has been specifically designed to tackle modern cross-country trails and race courses at high speeds. It actually shares many of the contemporary features of its Epic Hardtail sibling, but in a more budget-friendly package, making it the most efficient and powerful alloy hardtail available.
This Chisel is equipped with the proven SRAM NX Eagle 1x12-speed drivetrain, Level T hydraulic disc brakes, a RockShox Judy Gold fork, and 27 mm wide aluminum rims fitted with 2.35-inch Fast Track Control tires.
We asked ourselves, "How can we deliver professional-level performance at a price point that more riders can afford?" The answer lies in D'Aluisio Smartweld technology. This technology allows us to create the most consistent and strongest welds while maximizing the use of flexible, hydroformed aluminum tubes. The result? A frame that weighs only 1,350 grams, making it one of the lightest aluminum hardtails, and providing size-specific stiffness.
The Chisel also boasts all the modern features one expects from an XC bike, such as progressive XC geometry with a 68-degree head tube angle and longer reach, internal cable routing, a threaded bottom bracket, Boost spacing, compatibility for a 30.9 mm dropper post, and 1x drivetrains.
