A new feature of the Element is the introduction of the flexible Smoothlink SL rear link. By removing the conventional pivot point, we have not only optimized the weight but also increased the stiffness in the rear triangle. This lighter and refined design retains the premium ride quality of our traditional Smoothlink design, allowing the Element to clearly outpace its competitors. We have revamped the frame design with a completely new carbon layup and a flexible linkage suspension design, saving over 350g in weight. At the same time, we have increased stiffness at critical points to enhance performance at full speed.
