The aluminum frame combines a lightweight build with durability and stability on the road. The 50 mm wide tires provide a secure riding experience, even on unpaved paths. Powering the bike is a Bosch motor from the sporty Performance Line CX, which, starting in 2023, will be part of Bosch's new smart system, depending on the gear system chosen. This system offers additional connectivity features through a mobile app. A high-capacity battery ensures a long range. The configurator offers a selection of Shimano derailleur gears, along with the Enviolo hub gear, which provides an automatic comfort similar to that found in cars. Also available in the automatic version is the Rohloff E-14. This electronic version of the Speedhub hub gear is known for remarkable robustness, combined with innovative shifting comfort and smart features like automatic downshifting at traffic lights. The drive system is technically advanced. However, the connectivity through the mobile app is somewhat limited, as Bosch's new smart system is not yet compatible with the Rohloff E-14.
