The goal is clear – less weight, more performance, more speed. Thanks to the lightest EVO frame ever and the most aggressive version of our progressive XC geometry, the S-Works Epic EVO, along with its components, forms an absolute dream team. The phenomenal balance of performance and weight allows it to effortlessly jump over any obstacle and exceed our expected goals by far.
Although the Epic EVO features a seemingly modest increase in travel of 20 mm in the front and 10 mm in the rear compared to its counterpart Epic, we have made sure to implement this in a way that will amaze you on the first stretch of singletrack. The new kinematics of the EVO suspension have been meticulously developed to preserve the exceptional efficiency of the Epic. In perfect harmony with the fork and shock, customized with the Rx XC-Tune, it ensures that you can make the most of every millimeter of travel while maintaining the improved anti-squat characteristics for better pedaling efficiency.
With extensive experience in riding at the forefront, the Epic EVO claims to be the most powerful iteration of our progressive XC geometry ever featured on an Epic. The new rear end, equipped with a flip-chip, also makes the Epic EVO more versatile than ever. This allows riders to easily adjust the steering angle and bottom bracket height, thus modifying the handling characteristics.
Every component that adorns the FACT 12m carbon frame of the S-Works Epic EVO must meet the requirement of ultimate balance between lightness, efficiency, and durability. For instance, the new Roval Control SL wheelset is a seemingly paradoxical masterpiece of stiffness and low weight. Electronic components from SRAM, such as the lightweight yet trail-ready XX1 Eagle AXS groupset and the adjustable Reverb AXS dropper post, fit exceptionally well into this concept.
