This Orbea Wild in the striking Corn Yellow-Metallic Night Black finish is our most popular rental bike in the entire fleet, likely due to its eye-catching color scheme, as we have other identical models available. The existing display may also be a valid argument for our customers' decision to rent this particular bike. 1207 km attest to the popularity of this bike, which has left our customers with broad smiles, whether climbing uphill with the electric assistance of the large 750Wh battery and the powerful 85Nm Bosch motor, or descending where the large 29" Tubeless Ready rims and Maxxis tires, along with the 160mm suspension travel, make even the most demanding trails a safe descent. Reliable stopping power is provided by the proven SRAM brakes. Range is not an issue: with a single charge, you can achieve around 120 km in ECO mode, while it shrinks to 45 km in Turbo mode. Since a mountain bike tour leads uphill, and everything that goes up must eventually come down, the range is always somewhat higher, as you don’t need electric assistance going downhill. The feedback from our customers is quite positive. All returned to our shop with remaining range, and here in the beautiful Val Müstair, we not only have beautiful trails but also significant elevation changes, which is a good sign for this bike. Even after a 75 km tour in one day, customers still returned with 20% range remaining (usage of different support modes unknown). Of course, the extensive use of this bike, despite all precautionary measures with stone protection film, has left its marks. A repainting is included in the price, which will be done before the sale. The bike is still in use as a rental vehicle until the final sale, so a few more kilometers may be added.
