FRED is a bike designed from the ground up specifically for downhill use for kids. The geometry features a 63-degree head angle, a low bottom bracket, and a plush yet jump-friendly rear suspension that has been developed for lower body weights, making it appealing to young racers in junior downhill series like the IXS Rookies Cup as well as bike park shredders. As is typical for VPACE, weight considerations were also taken into account. The FRED265 weighs approximately 13.6 kg, even with its robust full equipment.
