Im Jahre 1950 gründeten die Eltern der heutigen Besitzer von Widmer-Motos ein Fahrrad- und Motorradgeschäft in Trimbach. 1969 entschlossen sich die Gebr. Widmer, die damals noch kaum bekannte Marke YAMAHA als offizielle Händler zu vertreten. Der Verkauf der YAMAHA-Motorräder nahm sprunghaft zu, so dass ein grossräumiges, modernes Geschäftshaus mit Ausstellraum und Werkstatt gebaut wurde, welches am 18. Februar 1983 eröffnet wurde. Fast 20 Jahre später im Jahre 2001 vergrösserten Gebr. Widmer nochmals, indem ein noch grösseres Verkaufsgebäude gebaut wurde, in welchem sich ein grosser Ausstellungsraum mit Motorrädern, Roller und Bekleidung befindet!
