Carvelo (www.carvelo.ch) is an initiative by the Mobility Academy and the Touring Club Switzerland. Through its sharing platform, electric cargo bikes ("Carvelos") can be rented in just a few steps. The service operates similarly to Mobility Carsharing: Carvelos can be rented by the hour and are available for pickup at designated hosts in the neighborhood. A Carvelo can transport goods (up to 100 kg) or even two children.
