This lightweight "Economy" version of the rack for mountain bikes features a plastic rack plate and an aluminum support tube. Beneath the carrying plate, there is a compartment where you can easily store smaller tools. The rack can support up to 7kg and is compatible with all bags from the Topeak MTX series. A reflector and a mount for the rear light ensure safety.

This rubber band is tricky for closing the storage compartment at the back. I'm satisfied, the rack has 2 taillight mounts, one that clicks in and one that screws in, with a distance of 8cm between the screw holes. It would have been smart if these spacers had been designed to also allow for the attachment of a reflecting light. So that you could mount both a taillight and a reflector there. Otherwise, it's very well designed, even with the small storage compartment, which is closed with a non-replaceable rubber band. This rubber band is still tricky, so be careful with it if you want to enjoy the rack for a long time.
