The new electronic Shimano XTR Di2 is ready to revolutionize shifting on mountain bikes. It is the first MTB shifting system that changes gears with unprecedented precision at the push of a button. The strengths of the electronic shifting lie in fast, accurate, and smooth gear changes, triggered by button presses. And this applies not only in nice weather, but also under extreme conditions such as heavy rain, mud, and snow. Programmable shifting layouts and the new unique Synchro-Shift are additional advantages of the electric shifting. The wiring is almost maintenance-free compared to traditional cables and simultaneously ensures a clear, innovative cockpit design. Synchro-Shift allows shifting with just one switch: chain changes at the front and rear with just one switch. Intelligent technology automatically ensures the most efficient chainring/cog combination. Two different tested shifting layouts are available for selection. A switch between these or manual shifting is possible at any time, even while riding. Of course, personal settings can also be programmed.
