The RD-R8000 derailleur reduces the operating forces on the lever and operates reliably, quickly, and precisely. The component group offers two special derailleurs: one for cassettes with 11–25 and 11–30 teeth, and one for cassettes with 11–28 and 11–34 teeth, which ensures a smooth ride even on the highest and steepest mountains. Thanks to the integrated SHADOW RD technology with its race-tested low-profile design, the derailleur is more compact and positioned closer to the frame, which results in less damage in the event of a fall.
