Does one really need this? As the title suggests, I find myself questioning whether this is really necessary. I have a full suspension eBike and purchased the "Shimano Deore XT PD-M8140" pedals. The pedals are fantastic and look great. Unfortunately, the reflectors don't fit into the existing openings but are instead attached with cheap screws, as seen in the photo. This makes the reflectors stick out, and with all the screws and adapters, dirt accumulates. But then again: who needs reflectors on a full suspension eBike? I think I could have saved myself this purchase.
