Attention, although it's 7-speed, it's designed for wider 8/9/10-speed freehub bodies! It's a 7-speed cassette, but not for 7-speed freehubs, rather for modern, wider 8/9/10-speed freehub bodies. This way, you can continue using an old 7-speed transmission when you need a new rear wheel, as new rear wheels are only available with wider freehub bodies. A good idea from Shimano, but this should definitely be mentioned in the product description!
