The disc brake system features a caliper with opposing dual pistons. The front pistons have a different diameter than the rear ones. The system employs a technique for power transmission where the smaller pistons engage the incoming disc, while the larger, more powerful pistons engage the outgoing disc. This reduces the wobbling of the brake disc and makes the brake significantly quieter. The four-piston caliper increases the contact surface with the brake disc while maintaining a compact size. The position of the pads is precisely calibrated to stabilize the pressure. Additionally, in combination with the SERVO WAVE brake lever, an incredible 50% more braking force is achieved compared to the previous model. The advanced SAINT/ZEE disc brake system can be adapted to the rider's braking habits and produces a smooth, excellently controllable braking power.
