The Schwalbe Tacky Chan Trail Pro Radial is a high-performance trail tire originally developed for the professionals of the downhill World Cup and is now also available in the trail segment. Schwalbe describes the Tacky Chan as the fastest downhill tire in the world, with maximum corner grip and maximum braking traction – while also optimizing rolling resistance and allowing for free line choice. In the TRAIL-PRO-Radial version, the tire is aimed at riders who prefer a lighter construction yet still want to benefit from the advantages of radial tire technology.

Your advantages at a glance

• ✅ Radial tire technology – the carcass threads are arranged at a shallower angle, enabling significantly better adaptation to the terrain.
• ✅ Up to 30% larger contact area – generates more ground contact for additional grip and safety at the same air pressure.
• ✅ Maximum corner grip – designed for high side support and precise line choice.
• ✅ Very strong braking traction – controlled deceleration even in steep and fast sections.
• ✅ More damping & safety – the radial carcass ensures a smoother riding experience on rough trails.
• ✅ TRAIL-PRO construction – slightly lighter than gravity variants, with minor compromises in puncture protection and precision.
• ✅ Tubeless Ready (TLR) – prepared for tubeless use.
