Thanks to the new radial carcass, the tire literally hugs the ground as the deformation occurs locally. With the larger contact area, riding comfort and safety are also improved. The open tread design and high tread depth ensure excellent engagement. As a result, the tire achieves substantial braking and propulsion traction, particularly on soft surfaces. The tread depth is slightly less than that of the Schwalbe Shredda Front, but the Shredda Rear rides even more stably.
