The Schwalbe tube No.16 fits 28" (or 27" -630) tires with a width of 28-32 mm and is used for city, cross, and trekking bicycles, among others.

Due to their excellent manufacturing, Schwalbe tubes have proven themselves in the market for years. They are uniform in wall thickness and round in shape. Their precise assembly makes them durable at the seams. A comparison test showed that the Schwalbe tube maintains air pressure significantly longer than other tubes (these lost almost twice as much air pressure over 30 days compared to the Schwalbe tube). A possible reason for this could be a lower butyl content in the other tubes. The special quality of Schwalbe tubes results from the uniqueness of their rubber mixture. To ensure this high quality, each individual Schwalbe tube is inflated and tested for at least 24 hours before leaving the factory.
