The Schwalbe Tube No.1 fits 12 or 12 1/2" tires with a width of 47-62 mm and is used in children's bikes, baby strollers, wheelbarrows, etc. For bikes that do not have enough space between the hub and rim, the variant with a 45° angled valve is used.

Due to their excellent manufacturing, Schwalbe tubes have proven themselves on the market for years. They are consistent in wall thickness and round in shape. Their precise construction makes them durable at the seam. A comparative test showed that the Schwalbe tube maintains air pressure significantly longer than other tubes (the others lost almost twice as much air pressure in 30 days compared to the Schwalbe tube). A possible reason for this could be a lower butyl content in the other tubes. The special quality of Schwalbe tubes arises from the uniqueness of their rubber compound. To ensure this high quality, each individual Schwalbe tube is inflated and tested for at least 24 hours before leaving the factory.
