The tire maintains the boomerang design of the G-ONE R, providing low rolling resistance and grip on steep climbs. However, the knobs are more pronounced, and the profile detail emphasizes its focus on off-road conditions: paired outer blocks ensure maximum cornering traction. The intermediate area is designed to be open to provide the best grip during steep climbs in muddy conditions and enables good self-cleaning. Schwalbe's development team uses a newly developed casing construction for the R-Line. Additionally, Schwalbe focuses on an innovative Turn-Up construction with three casing layers on the sidewall for excellent pinch and cut protection. The improved and widened V-Guard puncture protection belt also provides enhanced puncture resistance under the tread. A new arrangement of the individual layers further reduces rolling resistance.
