The tire retains the boomerang design of the G-ONE R, providing low rolling resistance and grip on steep climbs. However, the knobs are more pronounced, particularly emphasizing the focus on off-road surfaces in the detail of the tread: paired outer blocks ensure maximum cornering traction. The center area is open to allow for optimal grip on steep ascents even in muddy conditions and effective self-cleaning. Schwalbe's development team utilizes a newly developed carcass construction for the R-line. Furthermore, Schwalbe relies on an innovative Turn-Up construction with three carcass layers on the sidewalls for excellent puncture and cut protection. The improved and widened V-Guard puncture protection belt also enhances puncture resistance under the tread. New is the arrangement of the individual layers, which has further reduced rolling resistance.
