The Schwalbe Marathon is very well protected against punctures with a 3 mm high-elastic natural rubber GreenGuard insert. It enjoys a good reputation as the original and progenitor of all high-quality touring tires. The sustainability of the GreenGuard is emphasized, as it is made up of one-third recycled latex products. The lifespan is increased by anti-aging sidewalls that can withstand the typical overloads caused by low air pressure for a long time before they develop cracks.
The Schwalbe Marathon is fundamentally suitable for e-bikes up to 25 km/h (E-25), and the common sizes also have approval for fast e-bikes with support up to 50 km/h (E-50).

can drive on a mine i've owned many marathon tyres for years now and had to drive on glass a few times in the city, had cuts on the tyre for unknown reasons, i only every change them when they are worn

Durable and puncture-proof I mainly ride the Schwalbe Marathon on my e-bike with a 26-inch rear wheel, where weight is of secondary importance. What's much more important to me is puncture safety and high mileage. With the last tire, I achieved 9,534 kilometers without a single flat. Those are excellent performance figures, considering that the e-bike weighs around 42 kg (total weight with rider and luggage up to 150 kg) and is driven at speeds close to the 50 km/h threshold. However, I have also had tires that had a noticeable slight imbalance at higher speeds.

NOT 26 inches... Although the tire is sold here as 26 inches, it is not 26 inches but a strange intermediate size. More precisely, the number designation is 37 (width) - 590 (outer circumference or something). Normal 26 inches is 559. Please make sure to check your bike. (Now I have a tire that doesn’t fit, but returning it is also pointless...)
