An important factor for puncture safety, besides the tire and tube, is the rim tape. It protects the tire from mechanical influences such as the spoke heads or metal shavings in the rim and neatly covers the holes of the spoke holes.

The Schwalbe High-Pressure rim tape is pre-measured for various tire sizes. The width of the rim tape corresponds to the inner width of the rim. The rim tape should be approximately 2-4 mm wider than the inner measurement (bead seat width) of your rim.
