The new GlideCore air shaft significantly reduces friction – especially under axial loads such as when quickly riding over large stones or roots. The special design minimizes misalignment of the air piston in the main tube. A 30 mm larger bushing overlap provides lower friction and higher stiffness for optimal control of the suspension. The GRIP X2 cartridge was specifically designed for enduro and gravity riding, offering outstanding performance in the downhill segment. With individually adjustable high and low-speed compression as well as high and low-speed rebound, the GRIP X2 allows for precise fine-tuning of the suspension to meet the diverse demands on challenging trails. The bypass channels of the lowers have been routed 90° inward to reduce stress and dynamic friction. The new pressure balance buttons are slimmer and easier to operate. The new 36/36SL Mud Guard is no longer attached to the top fork bridge but is instead bolted to the lower fork bridge and the lowers for robust, scratch-free protection. Maximum tire width is 2.6 inches and brake disc ranges from 200 to 230 mm.
