SPEED METAL: Thanks to D’Aluisio Smartweld technology, the Chisel Comp EVO features the lightest XC aluminum frame in its class. Each frame tube has been specifically shaped for its corresponding position in the frame and has different wall thicknesses. This allows stiffness and compliance to be targeted for efficiency, comfort, and optimal control. UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE: Equipped with a range of trail-ready features, including up to 130 mm of front travel, the Chisel EVO absorbs hard hits and feels right at home in rough terrain. The Chisel Comp EVO is characterized by advanced kinematics, suspension optimized by Ride Dynamics, and progressive geometry. This allows it to effortlessly tackle varied terrain and gives riders confidence and more speed. INCREDIBLE EFFICIENCY: The geometry and kinematics inherited from our Epic 8 EVO platform make the Chisel Comp EVO the most efficient bike in its class. SMOOTHER IS FASTER: We equipped the Chisel with flexible seat stays for maximum suspension while simultaneously saving weight and minimizing maintenance. Extensive field and lab tests have shown that with the Chisel Comp EVO, we have achieved the impossible: a modern aluminum frame that combines the efficiency, control, and low weight of a "Flex Stay" design, which has so far been predominantly found in carbon bikes. NO HEAVY METAL: The Chisel Comp EVO shines with a one-piece hydroformed seat tube that integrates the pivot point of the rocker, the main pivot, and the bottom bracket shell. This allowed us to eliminate additional material and weight compared to a traditional bike where pivot points and bottom bracket shells are welded to a standard tube.
