Starting with the lightweight and stable HMF carbon frame, it is designed to balance the performance of road riding with all-road comfort. The frame is 25% more compliant in the vertical direction than classic racing bikes, providing a smoother, more stable ride on uneven surfaces. The geometry is also more open, with a higher stack and shorter reach than a racing setup, to offer all-day comfort in the saddle. The tire clearance is also intended for long tours, accommodating up to 38mm tires for maximum comfort when you take your Addict 40 on an adventure with mixed surfaces. Of course, this doesn’t mean it’s a slowpoke – you can pick up some serious speed. It’s responsive on the pedals, quick on the climbs, and stable on the descents. Whether it’s a thrilling ride full of adrenaline or a leisurely Sunday outing – both are incredibly enjoyable on this bike.
