NEXT CHAPTER. LEAVE THE VALLEY BEHIND. Since 2018, the name ALTO has been part of our road bike lineup. ALTO, derived from Italian/Spanish, means "high" and reflects its intended use as a mountain goat in its naming. Along with our third participation in the Tour de France, we also presented the third iteration of the REVELATOR ALTO. The development process incorporated feedback from our professionals and the experiences gathered from the toughest bike races in the world. Additionally, the new ALTO frame underwent the toughest testing phase in KTM's history. The pre-series prototypes were sent to the Hell of the North and were baptized on the cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix. At the same time, perfect aerodynamics were fine-tuned in the wind tunnel. The final results confirm both the ideal climbing properties and the low air resistance of the ALTO in black and white. Right from the start, French climbing specialist Pierre Rolland rode the new ALTO frame into the mountain jersey of the Dauphiné race. The journey of the first series frames took them from Mattighofen, through Copenhagen, to the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The frames for the Tour de France professionals are now waiting in various model variants for your use.
