CALEDONIA-5 FORCE AXS
FOR YOUR LONG STUPID RIDES
Beyond triathlon or professional cycling, there are hundreds of other athletes who push their bodies and gear to the limit every day in endurance-oriented sports. Ultra-distance, yes, but ultra-fast. We call this the "Big Stupid Rides," and since the introduction of the Caledonia in 2020, athletes around the world have explored the scope and "stupidity" of these rides.
These athletes choose the Caledonia-5. It is designed for long-distance and high-speed rides, with a fit and handling focused on comfort, but without sacrificing the racing feel of Cervelo bikes.
For the new Caledonia-5, we focused on improvements that would be significant for those pushing it to its limits. The biggest change you’ll notice is the addition of frame storage that you may have first seen on the P-series. It’s not designed to hold a banana, but just a small multi-tool, a spare tube, and a CO2 cartridge. Next, we looked at comfort: the seat stays are lowered, similar to the Aspero, making the rear triangle more vertically flexible. At the same time, there’s a bit more stiffness in the down tube to maintain the professional-level responsiveness that the Caledonia is known for. It still accommodates large tires (36 mm), and every bike comes with fender mounts.
Like all Cervelos, the Caledonia-5 is UCI approved and comes with a lifetime warranty. We make racing bikes, and we make them to last.
