The Áspero is Cervélo's entry into the gravel racing world. A bike for those who want to be fast on gravel, dirt roads, and asphalt alike, without sacrificing racing character. The carbon frame has been revised compared to its predecessor: lowered seat stays provide more comfort on long stages, increased mud clearance makes the bike usable even in poor conditions, and the improved cable routing keeps everything clean and more aerodynamic. It features Shimano GRX RX820 2x12-speed shifting with a 48/31T chainring, and is braked with Shimano CL800 disc brakes. The Reserve 30 GR aluminum wheels roll on WTB Vulpine TCS 700x45c tires, tubeless-compatible. The Cervélo AB09 carbon handlebar with a 16-degree flare provides a wider, more stable grip position on rough terrain. The T47a bottom bracket and the SRAM UDH derailleur hanger make the bike future-proof for upcoming drivetrain developments.
